With our infection rates skyrocketing during this second wave, many people are left extremely concerned about how much more damage will be done to our nation whilst we wait for a vaccine to be made available in our Country.
Some countries around the world are rolling out the COVID vaccinations, but there seems to be a lot of uncertainty as to when we will have access to it. The uncertainty hinges on many factors, including the results of the vaccine trials which are currently underway internationally, how soon the different vaccines are approved, and which are chosen to be distributed based on the supply, cost, and many other variables.
Whilst it is undeniable that the COVID-19 virus has wreaked havoc on our nation, there seems to be differing points of view when it comes to the vaccine. In as much as the limited availability of the vaccine is concerning, some people are relived at the thought of a vaccine being developed and would be more than willing to take it as soon as they can. Others are more sceptical about the rushed development, costs, and the unknown side effects it could have in the long term.
There are still so many questions and not very many answers. Only you can decide what you are prepared to do under these circumstances. Will you take it? Won’t you? What are your concerns?
