Setting a Good Example for Children After Divorce

All your actions in the divorce should set a positive example to teach your children about how to behave responsibly in the future and during conflict situations. Approach the divorce in a mature manner, separate the personal issues between you and your spouse from what the children need, and always treat your spouse with respect. Even if your spouse behaves badly, your children need to learn from you what the appropriate and healthy approach is to deal with conflict.
