POSSIBILITY OF ANOTHER HARD LOCKDOWN!

As South Africa endures the ever-rising number of cases of COVID-19, experts say the worst is yet to come.

Whilst the Government has acknowledged that the initial hard lockdown could not have been extended any further than what they had already done at the time, they have on several occasions stated that the same could be re-implemented should the need arise. We have seen a steady increase in the number of infections and deaths, and an even bigger spike in the numbers is expected shortly.

The threat of another hard lockdown is concerning not only from an economical perspective, but also from a psychological perspective in particular. People are struggling to cope as it is. Another hard lockdown may just be the last straw for many.
